I think children would love creating these amazing paper craft pieces for their home learning. Darrell Wakelam has produced one for every day of lockdown and if you go to his website you can download the instructions.

I would use them with a cracking text as a challenge. There’s lots of examples of children’s creations on the site to share with your children!

Many years ago, J.K.Rowling had the idea for The Ickabog and read it to my two younger children chapter by chapter each night while I was working on it. However, she never published it! Through lockdown she has been releasing chapters of it everyweek and there is also a children’s illustration competition alongside it.
It will be published in the autumn!
