This support package offers teachers the opportunity to consider their current teaching and to explore how it can be enhanced further through the use of word, sentence and text level activities. Quality texts will be explored to ensure that reading links directly to writing and pupils feel secure with their knowledge of text and language features. Support with planning will be offered and I will deliver model lessons, if required, to illustrate the different aspects of effective teaching. Guided and shared writing will also be explored as an effective tool for focused intervention.
